Give it
to Wizkid to be subtly rude on social media. And he didn’t hesitate to shun his
colleague, Seyi Shay. This came after Seyi Shay granted an interview with
Onstage TV, in Jamaica, insisting Wizkid wrote the ‘One Dance’ song, in which
rapper Drake featured him. He immediately took to twitter andliterally told her
to shut up, responding to a fan stating she lied.
She
said in her interview thus:
The same debate is going
on in Africa right now, that he sampled an Afrobeat.That song is actually
Wizkid's song .So it's not Drake's song. I don’t know if I can talk about this
but Wizkid wrote it, Legendary Beatz did the beat and some other Nigerian producers
produced it as an Afrobeats song and they stripped a lot of the music away and
just left the rhythm”.
A few weeks ago,US /Nigerian rapper, Wale also
said that was Wizkid's song judging from the sound and rhythm. So we all are
wondering if he is denying the truth or just blatantly sticking with the truth
that he didn’t write the song. He was not only featured on the song but was
also acknowledged as a co-producer of the song.
