One dead, 40 injured in Lagos Explosion.



One dead and forty injured in an explosion in a warehouse that sparked a major fire in Lagos, Nigeria's commercial Capital.
The explosion which affected nearby buildings and cars, is suspected to have  been caused by a Fireworks storage facility in Jankara market Idumota. The building is said to be located on Oko Awo street in the popular Jankara area of Lagos, close to King Ado secondary school.
Witnesses said the fireworks were stored in the warehouse on Lagos islankd and the blaze quickly spread to other buildings.

The blast reportedly shook windows of homes several miles away and a thick cloud of smoke could be seen rising over the island.
