An eye witness report stated
that a Bullion van carrying money in Illorin was blocked by a taxi cab which
was occupied by a couple of passengers. Minutes later, the police accompanying
the van fired at the cab and shot the leg of an nd 1 student of Illorin Poly.
Students later went on a
rampage, while the police claimed it was a mistake.
