Latest news reports have revealed that Ibinabo
Fiberesima is at the moment recovering from a medical procedure. According to
the revelation made in a bail appeal submitted to the Lagos state Court of
Appeal Thursday, March 17, 2016, the actress had a surgery which saw a tumour
being removed from her breast.
NAN reports that a six paragraph affidavit of urgency deposed by one Victor Eden, revealed the deponent asserting that Ibinabo was currently recovering from a surgery in which a tumour had been expelled from her breast.
The Court
of Appeal in Lagos, has reportedly fixed April 7 to hear the bail application
submitted by Ibinabo. Meanwhile, A group of Nollywood actors based in the north
had on March 17, 2016, staged a solidarity walk tagged#pardonibinabofiberesima

Recall that Ibinabo was sentenced to serve a five-year jail term on charges of manslaughter and reckless driving, which led to the death of Dr. Giwa in a car accident. The actress has however made an appeal at the Supreme Court of Nigeria to reconsider the Lagos high court ruling.
