The Super Eagles coach has
submitted his resignation to the Nigerian Football Federation, after a dramatic
falling out with the governing body 24 hours after picking up the trophy
Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi
has resigned as boss of the Super Eagles just a day after winning the 2013
African Cup of Nations.
Keshi told Goal.com a few
days before the final, that he would "pack his bags and leave" if he
felt he was not wanted, but following the 1-0 win against Burkina Faso in the
Afcon final, the coach was highly praised from all quarters.
However, after a dramatic
falling out with the Nigerian Football Federation, Keshi has tendered his
resignation.
