A
military helicopter has reportedly crashed near Yenegoa in Bayelsa State,
Saturday evening. Governor Patrick Yakowa of Kaduna State, former national
security adviser, NSA, General Owoeye Azazi said to be in the naval aircraft at
the time of the crash, have been confirmed dead! Four other occupants of the
Chopper that also died
at the crash have been identified as the Pilot of the Naval
Helicopter, his co-pilot, and two security aides to the late governor.
The occupants of the Chopper were returning from the funeral of
the father of the Special Adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan, Douglas
Oronto to Yenagoa at the Bayelsa capital when the helicopter crashed into the
creeks.
