It has been reported that the Emir of Kano,
Ado Bayero who was attacked on Saturday in Kano on his way back to his Palace
after attending a Quranic recitation competition, has been flown to London.
The report further states that the Emir was flown in a private jet via Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano, around 1:30 p.m. today.
The source said Mr. Bayero traveled along with his son,
Sanusi Ado Bayero and other guards who sustained injuries in the attack.
