Artiste of the Week: Mbryo

Mbryo was born Prince Omoferi in Warri to the family of Rev. Omoferi Akpedeye; in Delta state which was where he had his primary & secondary school education. ‘Growing up wasn't much fun for him because his Dad was really strict; hence he didn't have much friends, No outings but his father taught him and his siblings  to be close so the vacuum of not having friends wasn't felt much. He grew up loving Music and started playing drums at age 7, Piano at age 12 and other instruments along the line. He relocated to Lagos in the late nineties where he would say he really learned  everything he knows today especially in Music & Production. 

Mbryo has a Diploma in Mass Communications from Olabisi Onabanjo University and still has plans of going back to school. He loves his family, friends & fans and he assures them God helping, that he'll do his best to be the best.

He caught the eye of veteran award winning rappper,  Ruggedman and was signed to Rugged Records in 2013. There has been no looking back since as he has been recording songs after songs under Ruggedman’s watchful,experienced eyes.

December 2013 saw the release of a collaboration album featuring Ruggedman and Mbryo. The album’s title is Money Making Music ( MMM ). 
Mbryo’s video for the song "Remote", off the MMM album is currently enjoying heavy rotation on TV and Rugged Records will soon commence on a nationwide tour to launch, promote the album and also introduce its act "Mbryo" to the mainstream music industry and the world. 

Mbryo will on the 12th of April drop a new song titled "PAROLE" produced by Popito.
