These are the best times for Kenyan beauty and Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong’o. After clinching the coveted statuette in the prestigious Academy award, she has become every designer’s muse and has been acknowledged by all the big wigs in Hollywood, including getting a shout out from music maestro, Jay Z.
Recently, Lupita Nyong’o has been
announced as the new face of French skincare and cosmetics company Lancôme.
She joins Julia Roberts, Kate Winslet
and Penelope Cruz, as
ambassadors.
The actress
who became a world sensation through her role as Patsey in the movie 12 Years a Slave, is excited
about the new gig.
In a
statement, she says “I am truly honoured to join the Maison Lancôme, a brand
with such a prestigious history that I have always loved. I am particularly
proud to represent its unique vision for women and the idea that beauty should
not be dictated, but should instead be an expression of a woman’s freedom to be
herself.” she said.
Lupita is also
the face of Miu Miu.
