Four dead, many trapped as building collapses in Lekki,Lagos

A Five storey building has collapsed in the lekki area of Lagos, Naij.com can authoritatively report. The collapsed building is opposite Oando filling station by Chisco bus stop along the Lekki-Epe expressway corridor. 

As at press time, 6 persons have been rescued alive while 6 dead bodies have been recovered. One of the rescued persons told newsmen at the scene that no fewer than 20 workers are still trapped in the collapsed building. Confirming the incidence, the spokesperson of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) Mr Ibrahim Farinloye said rescue operations are currently ongoing.
