Rapper Ice Prince defends record labels in Nigeria




What seems to be trending in the Nigerian music industry now is artistes ditching their record labels and shouting ‘foul play’. Anyways, it happens the world over. This year seems overwhelming with artistes fighting dirty with their label owners. We have the likes of Wizkid, who eventually settled his scores with his label and went back to them, Brymo, Jesse Jagz, Vector, Chuddy K to mention but a few. Choc City actually suffered the blow more with the sudden exit of Brymo and Jesse Jagz within a space of time. One of the choc boys who seems to still be loyal and has stuck with the label that brought him to lime light let it all out on twitter, saying artistes should be more appreciative, he didn’t do that without acknowledging Record Labels in Nigeria.
