The pair could soon be the
hottest new couple in Hollywood, if recent reports are anything to go by
Both were in attendance when
the 85th International Academy Awards kicked off at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood
on February 24 – and in a candid live interview at the time Jamie, 45, came
clean about his secret crush on the Destiny's Child star.
While Kelly initially
feigned embarrassment, she was later assured by smooth talking Jamie that he
was 'serious' about taking her out on a date – before asking if they could swap
numbers.
According to National
Enquirer she agreed to pass on her digits and 'promised that they would reach
out so they could talk' – although it's not yet known if romance has blossomed
in the weeks following the Oscar's, which saw Jamie's Django Unchained get a Best
Picture nomination.
The actor – a past
Oscar-winner thanks to his portrayal of the late Ray Charles in 2004 biopic Ray
– has two children with different women, but previously admitted that marriage
doesn't interest him.
