A thief was caught, stripped
naked and beaten to a pulp at the College of Health Sciences And Technology,
Ijero Ekiti after he was caught in the act.
It was reported that the man
whose name was not released, was allegedly caught trying to steal phones,
laptops, clothes, food items and money belonging to some students of COHEST on
March 21.
Somehow he got into one of
the students’ rooms in the college but was caught when he ran into a female
student and she raised an alarm.
The man who was later handed
over to the police reportedly confessed that it was not his first time and he
had been successful several times before; in fact he had been stealing for 5 years successfully. He works in a quarry in Ekiti State.
Thank God, at least he was
not lynched.
