PHOTOS: Ciara Meets Nigerian Student Who Did An Artwork Of Her

Nigerian leading pencil Artsassin Artist and CEO of Artsassin Nation, Alesh Akeem, who is a student, did a beautiful portrait of Grammy Award winning singer, Ciara, who was recently in Nigeria for the LMM concert hosted by Dare Art-Alade. He did an awesome job that the singer was excited when he presented the portrait to her. She also acknowledged him on her IG page….cool.

Wizkid has been accused by his second baby mama, Binta Diallo, of neglecting both she and the baby as against al the empty promises he gave her. Veteran actor and dramatist, Joseph Abiodun Babatunde Adu, popularly known as Jab Adu, is dead..A source close to the foremost thespian said he passed on in his Abeokuta, Ogun State home early Sunday morning.

He was aged 83.

A burka-clad babysitter has been arrested in Moscow after she walked through the streets carrying the severed head of a four-year-old girl

The victim was a girl identified as Nastya M - and the child's 39-year-old nanny Gyulchehra Bobokulova, from Uzbekistan, has been arrested.

A woman was reportedly seen pulling the severed head out of a bag after being stopped by police at the metro station.

She is then said to have shouted that she had killed the child and was seen praying shortly before police swooped.

Buhari dumps promise to pay N5000 to unemployed youths

President Muhammadu Buhari has revealed he wouldn't pay the N5000 stipend promised unemployed youths during his presidential campaign.The President, said during an interactive session in Saudi Arabia that he could not pay those not employed.

He said he rather than paying unemployed youths, his administration would build infrastructure and empower able-bodied men to work.He said thus:

After Chris Rock opened the show with his monologue, which was by the way what it was. I mean this is his second time hosting the Oscars and he didn’t disappoint. One of his hilarious moments was when he took a jab at Jada Pinkett - Smith for boycotting the Awards because of the all-white nominations list. He said thus:

OMG! Finally and at last...Leonardo wins the Oscars. After having 4 nods in the past and without a win, the whole world was rooting for him, I was rooting for him(If he had'n't won this, the whole world would have flipped...like literally); and bam! he finally wins the coveted best Actor for The Revenant movie. This year was his 5th nomination and happened to be his big win.. This is a congratulatory and celebratory feat.

Accountant slaughters 14 members of his family, hangs himself

An accountant allegedly slaughtered 14 members of his own family, including seven children, with a butcher's knife before hanging himself.

Husnain Warerkar, 35, slit his relatives' throats during a family celebration in the Indian district of Thane in the early hours of today, police said.The victims included his parents, his wife and seven children.One of his sisters was the only survivor of the horrific attack, UK Mirror reports.
The terrified woman was taken to a nearby hospital by neighbours after her brother slaughtered the rest of their family.

Neighbours described the alleged killer as a cheerful person who showed no signs of any psychological disorder.

Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill according to reports, engaged in a big fight after Nicki refused to stay with him while being under house arrest.

TMZ says the friction surfaced after Meek tried pressuring Nicki to stay close when he goes into lockdown for 90 days for violating his probation on drug and gun charges. We’re told Meek wanted Nicki to live with him in Philly during his house arrest.

PHOTO: 45 Year Old Lawyer Gianni Infantino, Emerges as FIFA President

At FIFA headquarters in Zürich, Switzerland, 45 year old lawyer and UEFA general secretary Gianni Infantino, emerged as FIFA president.

Gianni Infantino won the FIFA president elections ahead of Asian Football Confederation, Sheikh Salman, former FIFA executive Jerome Champagne of France and Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein of Jordan. to become president of the world football’s governing body.

Sheikh Salman had been a favourite candidate to succeed Sepp Blatter because of the support he had from Asia and Africa, while Infantino had the backing of UEFA members.

But following a second round of voting, needing 104 votes to win, Infantino polled 115 and was named FIFA president until 2019 – the second successive Swiss president.

However, this is first time voting for the FiFA presidential election had reached a second round since 1974, when João Havelange of Brazil became the first non-European president ahead of England’s Sir Stanley Rous.

The 45-year-old lawyer and UEFA secretary general, Gianni Infantino, is from Brig in the Valais region of Switzerland, less than six miles from Blatter’s hometown of Visp.

King’s house where we were staying that the accused wanted to see me.

Don’t kill Rev King-Igbo group begs FG

Ndigbo Cultural Society of Nigeria (NCSN) has called on the Federal Government of Nigeria not to carry out the death sentence passed on Rev. Chukwuemeka Ezeugo, the General Overseer of Christian Praying Assembly, by the Supreme Court on Friday.

General Overseer of the Christian Praying Assembly, Rev. Chukwuemeka Ezeugo, a.k.a Reverend King Leader of the group, Chief Udo Udeogaranya, made the appeal after the Supreme Court threw out Rev King’s appeal against the death sentence passed on him in 2007 by a Lagos High Court .

Oprah Winfrey has lost $24 million thanks to Weight Watchers.Last year,she bought a 10 percent stake in the weight loss company for $43.2 million, joined the company's board of directors, became a spokesmodel for the brand and began its diet plan.

According to Reuters,on Thursday, the company reported a 21 percent drop in fourth-quarter net revenue, which sent its shares down more than 27 percent in extended trading. As a result, tWinfrey's stake plunged by about $24 million.. However, she has still gained almost $75 million since she made her investment, the news wire added.

50 Cent's first baby mama slams him for commenting on their son's IG page

I know break ups under really terrible circumstances can be very painful and hard on both parties. Now this IG post is from an obvious embittered baby mama. After 50 cents posted a message on his son's Instagram page, his first baby mama came all out; fangs out, claws out.....ready to scratch and tear. lol. Her response to the pre-birthday, manly message directed at his son, brought upon him some serious backlash from his baby mama.

A Liberian, Daniel Barnney, is being held by the police for allegedly selling his nine-month-old son Emmanuel to a 43-year-old woman, Ekah Richard, for N250,000.

Barnney, one Pastor Samuel Osavitu and a worker at an orphanage, Alhaji Sunkanmi Adamu, are being quizzed at Festac Police Station over the matter.

Barnney’s Nigerian wife Ijeoma Ndoku raised the alarm over his plan to sell their son and flee to Ghana last month.

A 26-year-old woman, Queeny Akuffo, who has been charged with raping another woman, has told the Accra circuit court that she was not in a lesbian relationship with the alleged victim prior to the incident in question. The 22-year-old victim told the court on Wednesday that she carried out chores for the accused and on the day that the incident occurred Akuffo told her to make dinner,. She is said to have drugged the complainant and raped her with an artificial penis, otherwise called a dildo.

Late Oyelowo Oyediran Ajanaku, who was stabbed to death by his lawyer wife, Yewande, during an argument at their Akobo estate home in Ibadan, have arrived the st. P-aul’s Anglican church, gbogan, in Ayedaade Local Government Area of Osun State.

It was recorded that his wife allegedly stabbed him on February 2nd. He was said to have been rescued by his landlord and taken to the hospital where he was treated.

The infamous religious cleric, Rev. Chukwuemeka Ezeugo, a.k.a Reverend King who was sentenced to death by hanging will know his fate today, February 26. King will face the Supreme Court today to know if the apex court will uphold his death conviction or reverse it.
The general overseer of the Christian Praying Assembly in Lagos was sentenced to death by a Lagos high court after he was arraigned on September 26, 2006 on a six-count charge of attempted murder and murder. He pleaded not guilty to the allegation but on January 11, 2007 , he was sentenced to death by the then Justice Joseph Oyewole of Lagos state high court in Ikeja, for the murder of one of his church members, Ann Uzoh.
