Glo suspends P-Square’s contract renewal

Following the recent debacle going on with the Okoye brothers, few days back, Nigeria’s biggest telecommunications company Globacom has refused to renew P-Square’s contract as the company’s ambassador.

As Glo recently renewed the contract of its ambassadors, he decided to halt Peter and Paul Okoye endorsements. However, GLO further explained that if the situation remains the twin brothers would seize to be GLO ambassadors immediately their current contract expires.

A top manager in GLO who spoke on the condition of anonymity disclosed that the decision was imposed due to the show of shame that ensued between the company’s representatives and Peter, one half of the P-Square twins during the grand finale of the Dance with Peter talent hunt show.

He also admitted that GLO had defaulted on some of its promises made as the sole sponsor of the show but expressed dissatisfaction on how Peter overreacted by insulting our hierarchy in the process.

According to reports, when Mike Adenuga heard of the development, he felt embarrassed and gave the order that Psquare can no longer be his company’s ambassador.
