Beyonce’s fans are calling
foul over a promotional photo circulating on the Internet.
The photo shows the smiling
singer holding up an empty plate with the words “MISS A MEAL” printed on the
plate.
“Hell Na, Tf wrong with B?,”
tweeted
one enraged fan on Twitter.com Thursday. “Beyonce supporting anorexia,” tweeted
another.
There is no explanation for
the promotional photo, which left fans wondering if the message on Beyonce’s
plate was intended as a subtle fig at overweight people. Knowing Beyonce, it’s
no coincidence that this promo is released 2 days after singer Tyrese Gibson
reportedly insulted calorically challenged people, calling them “fat and nasty”
during an interview.
During an interview with AllHipHop.com,
Tyrese was asked how he motivated people to live healthier lives:
“When you take a shower and you put your
fat, nasty body in the shower and by the time you get out, the mirrors are all
steamed up so you don’t look at what you did to yourself. That may sound
offensive or insensitive but ultimately, you are big as hell because you have
earned that sh*t. You worked your a** off to eat everything in sight to get big
as hell.”
Update:
According to several readers, “Miss A Meal” is Beyonce’s charity to help feed
hungry families. But it gets worse: Beyonce’s website for her “charity” is
designed by ‘Angry Pig’ media. You tell me that’s just a coincidence.
