Residents of the area woke up early this morning to find a new born baby stone dead near a refuse dump right before the entrance of Gowon Estate at Ponle bus stop. The new born was dumped there alive because two women later confirmed they heard the cries of a baby in the wee hours of today as they were headed for the market but didn't know where it was coming from.
The baby was left there naked to battle the cold for hours. He died even before anyone noticed its presence.
Pretty sad...............
