A male Elephant becomes infuriated after losing to a rival Elephant in a fight for a female's attention. The ginamous animal escaped from the Wild Elephant Valley resort in Xishuangbanna, Yunnan province, China on February 12, smashing more than a dozen cars parked nearby. An amateur video of the incident recorded by a witness shows the animal playfully pushing the vehicles, sitting on them, rubbing against the body work and crushing windscreens in front of their frightened owners and police officers.

The rampage lasted for about 20 minutes, until the depressed elephant wandered back into the jungle.
A government spokes person commented on the incident stating thus: “The tourists were quite excited to see a real wild elephant, and they were using their phones to take photos and videos. Even the owners of some damaged cars found the experience to be thrilling and very interesting, although their cars got scraped.”.
Luckily, no one was hirt during the incident. The Wildlife park authorities promised to pay compensation for the damaged cars. According to the park workers, the elephants had to leave their native habitat in the dry season and search for food and water.
