An eye witness today
witnessed the shooting of an Okada rider by a policeman. According to the eye
witness, the young man you see above was allegedly shot in the chest at 10:52
A.M this morning around Ilupeju Byepass in Ilupeju by policemen from
the Ilupeju Police Station, who were chasing him and trying to seize
his Okada.
The Okada rider in a bid to escape being arrested, received a shot in his chest by one of the policemen chasing him. After shooting the okada rider, the policemen
boarded their van and sped off. Passersby then rushed the
young man to Teju Hospital which is just adjacent to where
the incident occurred .The okada man
is presently receiving treatment at the hospital.
