Kelly Osbourne has confirmed
she DID collapse on the set of Fashion Police on Thursday.
The reality star’s publicist
had early tried to play down the incident after dramatic images emerged of the
28-year-old being carried off set to an ambulance.
But straight-talking Kelly
cleared up all doubt when she took to Twitter to explain to well-wishing fans
what had happened.
She wrote: ‘Thank U all 4 UR
beautiful well wishes yes I did have a seizure they are just trying to figure
out why?’
Kelly, the daughter of Ozzy
and Sharon Osbourne collapsed while filming her E! show Fashion Police, and was
taken to a Los Angeles based hospital where she was expected to stay overnight.
Kelly was recording the
latest episode of the style programme alongside Joan and Melissa Rivers, who
has been covering for usual panel list Giuliana Rancic.
Kelly reportedly turned to
the star and told her she didn’t feel well, before she fell out of her chair
shaking.
An audience member happened
to be a doctor and reportedly fled to her aid.
Kelly came around a few
moments after the seizure, but her team wanted her to go to hospital for tests
and supervision.
Before Kelly spoke out a
spokeswoman for the star told MailOnline: ‘Kelly Osbourne fainted on the set of
E!’s Fashion Police today.
‘She was taken to a local
hospital for further testing and is awake, alert and in stable condition.
‘She will be staying
overnight for observation as a precautionary measure. There are no further
details at this time.’
Joan – who was on set during
the scare – told TMZ this afternoon: ‘She is fine.’
Kelly has been in the wars
lately, most recently being pictured with a cast on her leg after spraining her
ankle.
Kelly got her foot stuck in
a rest room drain and opted to inflict a serious injury on herself rather than
risk ‘eating the toilet’ in the germ-filled public convenience.
She tweeted at the time:
‘Got my shoe stuck in a bathroom drain. I was faced w/ spraining my ankle or
eating the toilet! Guess what I picked?’
She added: ‘Just could not
bare the thought of my face landing in a public toilet! However I’m now
questioning my decision due to the pain!!!!! (sic)’
Kelly was also recently
given an expensive bottle of champagne after rocks fell on her head at a hotel.
Writing on her Twitter page,
Kelly revealed: ‘I love it when rocks fall on my head from construction – just
got given a $1,000 bottle of champagne & flowers from the hotel as an
apology!’
She added: ‘I’m gonna give
the champagne to my Mumma as it is her favorite kind!’
